RENITTA KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION, LLC (RKC) is a woman owned business that has been in operation since August 14, 2007. RKC is in the business of customer satisfaction. RKC is responsible for pulling together all necessary subcontractors needed to have a safe work site, an efficient operating project, and the production of an excellent quality product.

“If I can help somebody, as I pass along, then my living shall not be in vain.” These are the words of a song written by Alma Bazel Androzzo and it states the mission of RKC perfectly. Sure it is the goal and objective of any for profit company to be financially successful. However, RKC has a desire to help members of its surrounding community, city, county, state, country and maybe the world to become self supporting by redirecting their thinking; retraining them in doing things outside of the box; and supporting them in new businesses via the sustainable and renewable industry. RKC as been involved in its community by being a part of the Big Bend Habitat For Humanity Nurturing/Faith Base Committee and
Big Bend Habitat for Humanity Construction Committee. RKC has also hired at risk youth and young adults through the City of Tallahassee's Tempo program to work on projects. RENITTA KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION, LLC wants to “INSPIRE TO HIRE”.

Renitta Knight the founder of, RENITTA KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION, LLC, and she has been a Florida Certified General Contractor since 1996. Ms. Knight has served as a secondary qualifying agent for another company located in Palm Beach County. Ms. Knight has been involved in the construction of multifamily complexes and residential water intrusion project within Palm Beach County. In 2007 Ms. Knight gave birth to RENITTA KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION, LLC “RKC” and obtained many certifications on the city, county, state and federal level. Since Ms. Knight is 100% owner, RKC has the following certifications: SBA HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, and MBE; USDOT DBE; FDOT DBE and FDOT Bond Guarantee; State of Florida MWBE; City of Tallahassee/Leon County MWBE and SBE;
OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Training. Renitta Knight is the Primary Qualifying Agent for RENITTA KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION, LLC and provides construction management for various types of projects.
Renitta Knight is a member of various not for profit organizations whose sole purpose is to give a helping hand to those in need and has served as a member of the board of directors for some of these organizations to ensure these organizations fulfill their commitment to the community in which they serve.
